I have the best time hunting for elongated emerald cut diamonds! There is just something so charming about their longer length to width ratio. I also really appreciate finding a diamond that has an SI1 clarity without any visible inclusions making it perfectly eye clean, as well as having medium blue fluorescence because makes the diamond more affordable and it makes the diamond look whiter than its stated color of "L". Lastly, this diamond faces up HUGE and has the most amazing sparkly optics! With a longer ratio, it gives the appearance of a 3 carat diamond. I would choose this as an engagement ring in a heartbeat. It is set east west for a very chic look in my 14k yellow gold classic bezel which has enough clearance to stack with anything and achieve a flush fit. The ring has been given a “worn” patina that so many of my customers love.
The shank is 1.57mm wide x 1.65mm rise off the finger.
